This is a private, non-commercial site written by three students. It carries no advertising, sells nothing, and takes no payment, so it publishes no business address. If that ever changes, full details will appear here first.

We take care over what is published here and correct errors when they are pointed out. We are not obliged to monitor material from third parties, and we remove or correct anything unlawful as soon as we learn of it.

The images are either in the public domain or used under a Creative Commons licence, and each one names its source, its photographer where there is one, and its licence in the caption beside it. Translations quoted in the reading room are out of copyright, judged by the death date of the translator rather than of the author.
